Clay Fortune Cookie Workshop
Celebrate AAPI Heritage Month with a creative, hands-on evening at the Hoboken Historical Museum!
Join Atacama Clay Studio for a guided workshop where participants will craft their own ceramic clay fortune cookies, inspired by traditional forms and contemporary ceramic art.
In this relaxed and welcoming session, guests will learn basic hand-building techniques while shaping their own fortune cookie sculptures using 1.5 lbs of clay per person. After forming your pieces, you’ll select from 3–4 glaze options (or a classic clear glaze), and Atacama Clay Studio will take the work back to their studio for professional glazing and kiln firing. Finished pieces will be returned to the Museum for pickup at a later date.
