The wine list was a menu for Tavern (bar) Car or Dining Car service for long distance trains along the route to Chicago and other points. Wine List was its broad name covering Alcoholic Beverages which included only four wines. It had a larger selection of mixed cocktails, hard liquor and beers plus other liquid refreshments such as mineral waters and sodas. Also offered were cigars, cigarettes, cards (playing cards), Alka Seltzer and the Snooze Pillow.

As the Erie Lackawanna Railway (it was renamed Railway from Railroad in 1968) this company existed from April 1968 to April 1976, but it only operated long distance passenger service until the first week of January, 1970.
