Date range based on first appearance in 39th edition catalog of 1943 and that it was no longer listed in 1954 42nd edition catalogue. MINUSA was a trademark from the contraction of "Made in U.S.A." The tools were both a patriotic statement and the company's response to manufacture domestically since that the usual imports from Germany were no longer available due to World War II. This stock number and item may have been introduced earlier than 1943.
Keuffel & Esser Co. main office and factories were in Hoboken in the period when this item was made.
