DescriptionLeroy lettering template 61 1250-96PC made by Keuffel & Esser Company, (Hoboken), no date, circa 1960-1970. Two pieces, laminated plastic incised with symbols, 25" long x 2" high x 1/8" thick. With: original two piece slipcase carton; only very small remainder of printed paper label on tray end. Other labels indicated item was checked baggage. Template 1: outlined italic letters; A-M on side 1; N-Z on side 2. Template 2: same font for numerals and punctuation on one side only. For use in the Leroy lettering system. Typically used by draftsmen, engineers, mapmakers, geologists, etc. Italic alphabet on side with K&E logo and product number. Italic numerals and symbols on back. Keuffel & Esser Co. main office and factories were in Hoboken up to Dec. 1968.
