Painted wood (formerly white; almost completely gone), metal; 37" high closed; ca. 61" high with legs entended. Leather strap. Mount: 3-1/2" x 8 thread. Missing: one locking nut. Product number and K&E name do not appear on object. Used for mounting levels, transits, theodolites, etc. The date of this one is only approximate, but it is likely from that era. K&E had their main office and factories in Hoboken when it was made.
