Deposition of Archibald E. Hoyt, Sept. 13, 1907 regarding outstanding salary owed to him by the Estate of James Miller. Sworn before the Master in Chancery, John B. Pierson. Typewritten red-ruled sheet, 6-3/8" high x 8" wide. It established Hoyt as a creditor of the estate.
Tipped-on the top left edge is a holographic statement by Hoyt to Mrs. Mary H. Miller, Executrix, Estate of James Miller. Dated Hoboken, Aug. 20, 1907, for "2 weeks Salary as Nurse to James Miller - $40. - being last two weeks of his life." It is receipted at the bottom that he received payment February 15, 1908 and signed by Hoyt and Dana B. Idell, Guardian of James Miller.
