Beer bottle stopper, ceramic: Charles Weinacht, Hoboken, N.J. No date, circa 1894-1910. White porcelain ceramic with embossed lettering and flag art; cone shaped, 1" diameter top tapering to 1/2" diameter x 1" high; triangular through hole for wire bail closure (not present); also not present is the rubber washer that was used with this style of stopper intended for a blob top bottle.
Top has a red rule circle with "Chas. Weinacht" & "Hoboken, N.J." in dark gray (probably once darker or black); depiction in red at center of a waving American flag on pole. (Weinacht was a wine and beer merchant whose business was founded in 1877.)
Bottom has maker's mark and patent date:

This style of stopper would have remained in use for many years, even beyond the life of the patent, although other bottle styles and stoppers superseded it.
Weinacht was 57 Fourth St., Hoboken.
