Token: Port Authority Trans-Hudson 1 Fare; reverse: PATH NY-NJ. No date, circa 1962-1973. Stamped brass metal with punched slot; 7/8" diameter.
The Port of New York Authority took over the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad on Sept. 1, 1962 and re-named it the Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corp. or PATH. It used fare tokens until 1973.
On the side that has "Port Authority Trans-Hudson 1 Fare", the slot is the center of the numeral "1".
On the side that has "PATH NY-NJ", the slot is the center of an arrow.
