Scope and ContentContents of loose-leaf notebook of Michael A. Protomastro, Demarest High School, Hoboken, for eleventh grade classes English VI and VIII, February, 1943 to January, 1944. Three hole punched tabbed divider leaves and lined paper, ca. 75 leaves plus enclosures. Original binder not present. Student was a high school junior and lived at 727 Garden St. The leaves include a index page with subject and class information listing teachers, room numbers and schedule. For the two respective English classes, each has leaves called "Assignment Page" with date, book and the assignment. They are followed by class notes and completed class work, some graded, plus laid-in are test answer sheets with grades on them (which are sheets of various sizes and colors, some folded.) English VI is dated from 2/15/43 to 6/7/43; English VII is dated 9/29/43 to 1/5/44.
