Story, complete on this page, about Gustave Meyer (1876-1944) who moved to Hoboken in his teens, studied astrology and opened a practice as Professor Meyer, "America's Scientific Astrologer." The articles states he did a horoscope for himself in July 1944 and stated "According to the stars, my life is running out." He died within the month.
A 1925 city directory lists Professor Gustave Meyer, America's Scientific Astrologer, along with his wife, Kate, at 1140 Bloomfield St. The business section has him as the only listing under Astrologers at the same address.
