New York Yacht Club Magazine, Summer 2010, Vol. 23, No. 1. Three copies.
Back cover, page [16], has three photographs taken by donor Greg Mesniaeff (and member of the N.Y.Y.C.) with a caption written by him. One photo is a view of the first Club House built in Hoboken, 1845, for the Yacht Club as it presently is seen in Rhode Island. Also a photograph of the bronze sign plaque in Hoboken about the founding of the club and clubhouse as well as a view of the modern Hoboken Cove Community Boathouse built near the original site (Elysian Fields.)
The two Hoboken photos are on Frank Sinatra Drive North at approximately 11th St. and the Hudson River, Maxwell Place Park. The modern building has architectural elements and scale related to the 19th century building.
Caption for the photos calls the modern one, a "maintenance building." It does have rack storage for recreational boats such as kayaks and sculls as well as office space and restrooms for organizations that used the facility. The mainenance function is the smallest part of the building.
