A guide book that is almost entirely about New York City. Kobbe was best known as a music critic and author about opera, musicians and actors/actresses.
Hoboken is only mentioned in passing with regard to ferries. Of the four fold-out maps, only one has Hoboken. Color map opposite page 264, Vicinity of New York (11-1/8" wide x 14-3/4" high), shows Hoboken with a generic street grid.
