Metal wall sign: R. Neumann & Co. 9" high x 36" long x 3/4" thick. Black painted metal with white lettering. Ca. 10 guage sheet metal, formed beveled edge, hollow back. No date, ca. 1920. The company has been at 300 Observer Highway for at least 75 years. The lettering on the front is a routed-out serif face, in painted in white enamel, worn. The sign is formed from a single sheet with 3/4" wide 45-degree beveled edges soldered at the corners. One hole, ca. 1/2" diameter, on the flat surface near each corner for mounting use.
