Notes: CABLE ADDRESS: STENECK ESTABLISHED 1666 TELEPHONE:44-HOBOKEN STENECK BANK BUILDING JOHN STENECK & SONS FOREIGN & DOMESTIC BANKERS RAILROAD & STEAMSHIP AGENTS 95 RIVER STREET Hoboken, N. J. December 9th, 1911. Mr. John D. Cappelmann, Charleston, S. C. Dear Sir As the books are now open for reservations for all sailings of 1912, we take the liberty of calling your attention to the fact that numerous bookings have already been made, and should you or any of your friends contemplate sailing, we would advise you to mail us the enclosed postal, and we shall forward all information to you. We wish to call to your attention that we have been estab- lished since 1866. Our offices are situated at the entrances of the Hamburg-American and Worth-German Lloyd Piers which enables us to as- sist our passengers on the day of sailing and arrival of steamers. For convenience and safety of our passengers, upon request we shall be pleased to have our uniformed porters call, to carry bag- gage and perform similar service, and as they are conversant with all formalities on the piers, our passengers are relieved of all annoyan- ces and worry, and avoiding loss of time. Should it be impossible for you to sail, we shall cancel the reservation without any expense to you, upon receiving 4 weeks notice, thereby giving us an opportunity to recall the accommodation. Hoping to have the pleasure of hearing from you, we remain, Very truly yours, [facsimile signature inkstamp] John Steneck & Sons[?] Enclosure HOS/K Status: OK Status By: dw Status Date: 2012-05-07
