Detail 1: buildings and stores on west side of Washington St. in the 300 block; at center is "Loans" and the three-ball pawnbroker sign which was Hoboken Pawnbrokers at 312 Washington; at the left edge is 300 Washington Street, a five story apartment building destroyed by fire in 2012.) Detail 2: view of east side of Washington 300 block looking south; note the billboard in the distance where Washington Street meets Observer Highway - this sign was atop a freight building of the Erie Lackawanna Railroad. O'Brien notes on the back: Washington St. Angle Parking [cataloger's note: there is no angle parking seen in this image; angle parking starts at 8th St.& Washington and goes north.] ---- This photo is in a group of 23 in this accession which are the same size prints and apparently taken during the same period; none are dated, but automobile models and other elements seen in some images suggest the date range.
