The ice cream works was I. Marchiony, Inc., Manufacturers of Ice Cream Cones and Sandwich Wafers. Addresses varied: 219-225 and 223-225 Grand St., Hoboken. Italo Marchiony was an inventor of molds to produce ice cream cones and sandwiches circa 1903-1904. Retired in 1938.

FIRE RACES THRU ICE CREAM PLANT
Every available piece of fire apparatus in Hoboken, N.J., was called to the scene of a blaze that razed a three-story ice-cream plant at 219 Grand St. May 15. The Fire was plainly visible from Manhattan. Firemen prevented flames from spreading a lumber yard adjacent to the building. Here is the blaze at its height.
