Printed envelope, 7" x 10" high; 65 piece die-cut cardboard puzzle pieces (assembled: 6-1/2" wide x 10" high); with enclosure: Flight Commander Test pamphlet, single folio, 5-1/2" wide x 8-1/2" high, [4] pp.
All items state Hoboken, N.J. which was where Davis was based at the time and made the Cocomalt product. A one pound lithographed metal can of Cocomalt is depicted on the envelope back.
Puzzle is marked at lower left: U.S 5 R.B Davis Co., Hoboken, N.J. Litho in U.S.A.
Also actual title of puzzle is printed in larger type at bottom center: Faith.

On envelope back is the usual promotional copy on the product and "How to Become a Flight Commander" (on flap at bottom.) Also, it promotes the educational aspect with a "How to Use the Puzzle" section. It has instructions plus a "Time Chart." It gives 2 completion times, either "Good" or "Excellent", for ages 8, 12, 15 and adult
