Brochure for the Union Club, 6th and Hudson Sts, Hoboken, no date, ca. 1950. Single leaf, 8-3/16" high x 10-5/8" wide, folded twice to 3-5/8" wide. Printed in color one side; black-and-white on the other side.
A commercial establishment at 600 Hudson Street had three bars, various dining and meeting rooms plus a ballroom with a stage and scenery for events and social functions. It had been operated as stated since July 1, 1935 by the Sampieri family who also updated the facilities. Current management was Joseph Sampieri, General Manager and Charles J. Cerutti, Manager. The Club was built in the 19th century as the Deutscher or German Club.
