Notes: According to Taber, this switcher was the first diesel electric center cab locomotive. It worked exclusively in the Hoboken passenger yard. Engine numbers 450-452 were built in 1933 and 453-455 were made in 1934. All were scrapped by 1959-1960. The Lackawanna Terminal in Hoboken was the main eastern terminus for the railroad's passenger service and certain freight operations. This equipment was used in Hoboken. It is unknown if the drawings were made in Hoboken or at one of the many other DL&W facilities, although the engineering department was at one time in Hoboken. The sheets were a routine method for inventory of motive power and other stock. Status: OK Status By: dw Status Date: 2010-07-25
