Full-page color advertisement by Franklin Baker Co., Hoboken, N.J. as published in The Farmer's Wife, June 1930, pg unknown. Clipped leaf, 10-1/2" x 14-1/8" high. Promoted only Baker's Southern Style (not hyphenated on can or in text as was often found) Moist Coconut in cans; Baker's Premium Shred Coconut is not mentioned. Ad is copyright 1930 by G.F. [General Foods] Corp. and Franklin Baker is stated as "Franklin Baker Co. (Inc.)" At bottom is titlling: Baker's Coconut. A Product of General Fodds Corporation. Mail coupon includes promotion for a free recipe book and a trial (sample) half-size can for ten cents. Company street address is not given (but an additional address is found for Canada: Franklin Baker, Ltd., Sterling Tower, 19th floor, Toronto 2, Ontario.) The company was at 15th and Bloomfield Streets. Two endorsements: Presidential Dining Room of the Hotel Mayflower, Washington, D.C.(photo of men dining) and by Clifford Howe (photo), steward of the Vanderbilt Hotel, New York.
