View is southeast and does show some of the southwest corner of Hoboken including the trolley viaduct. Note the R.B. Davis Company factory with the Cocomalt & Davis Baking Powder rooftop sign. Note also that the sign faces to the south for viewing by people on trains to or from the Lackawanna Terminal and the Erie Terminal as well as those on ferries and ships in the Hudson River and New York Harbor.
Also note the train tracks that run north-south below the elevated trestle; the New Jersey & New York Railroad / Erie Railroad right-of-way. Also Division Street.
