Louis LaRusso II (1936-2003) lived in Hoboken for his entire life except for military service and some years in Los Angeles. The work in this notebook is entirely in pencil, some printed, some cursive. Many are multi-page and the type of work ranges from stories to poems and sonnets. There are a very few erasures and replacements, but no cross-outs found.
Some are signed 'LLR' at the end, while others are not signed or signed Lou or Louie LaRusso.
The body of work is characterized by the author by large print on the inside of the covers-
