View of Harry Stripling, First man to come through 30" shaft "helingthrough" [sic holingthrough] pipe from South Tunnel, N.J. to N.Y. river shaft column, meeting Colonel C.S. Gleim of the Port of New York Authority and sanhogs in the N.Y. river shaft caisson. Camera set 10 ft. east of the west inner skin plate of the caisoon, 10 ft. below top of drum, facing west.
