Photo taken by [Conrad] Magnus, (Artistic Photographer), 520 Washington St., Hoboken, N.J. (imprinted in front lower border including CM monogram; plus a different imprint on reverse.) Reverse has imprint. The boy has not been identified. His cap has the letters "A.G.C.S." and the numeral "8" below them. It has not been determined what organization the letters represent. See photos 2012.033.0002, .0003 and .0004 which are of two brothers, seen singly, and related to this photo. Magnus address of 520 Washington was changed in 1892 from 204 Washington St. Donor Phylis Furth Fuchs stated that it may from the family of a Hoboken fireman of German-Jewish heritage.
