Longdrigan City Clerk [ink] Approved Mar 10/11 Geo Gonzales Mayor ==== RESOLVED, That the Chairman of the Council, the Legislative Committee of the Council, and the Corporation Attorney "be and they are hereby authorized and directed to appear "before the Members of the General Assembly, and Senate, and the Governor of the State, in opposition to the proposed legislation for the construction of a subway throughout Hudson County; and we hereby express our opposition in behalf of the people of the City of Hoboken, to such proposed legislation; and be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this resolution, certified by the City Clerk, be forwarded to Hon. James F. Fielder, Senator from Hudson County, and Cornelius Ford and James McGrath, Members of the General Assembly, representing the City of Hoboken, County of Hudson, and a copy thereof be forwarded also to his Excellency Governor Woodwow [sic - Woodrow] Wilson.
