Exact area has not been determined, but from the angle of the view to Manhattan, it is definitely between the Lincoln Tunnel and north to what became Port Imperial. Seen are the remains of pilings, a sunken barge and debris accumulated on the coast. While it is not a view from Hoboken, it is useful for orientation and as an example of typical shoreline conditions in Weehawken, just north of Hoboken, before major real estate development began. Photograph is one of several in this accession that were discarded file photos considered or used for publication in The Hoboken Reporter newspaper from circa 1983-1988.
